The U.S. Army awarded General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. a four-year $82.7 million contract for technological support. Under the deal announced on April 30, the Poway maker of unmanned aircraft systems will provide technological support to the Joint System Integration Laboratory.

The Army Contracting Command of Redstone Arsenal, Ala., awarded the deal. Bids were solicited via the Internet with one bid received.
